App Update with "Sophos Mobile Control Store" - iOS

i installed an app with the "Sophos Mobile Control Store" from my Server (iTunes-Link), after a few days an update is avavible for the app.
Can i app updates without the Apple AppStore? Can the "Sophos Mobile Control Store" install updates…
At present it is only possible to allow passwords (in various forms) and PINs. When will be the use of finger prints, face or voice recognition, pattern drawings... implemented?
I discovered this when setting up an Android phone but I assume it an general issue.
