AP 30 ap30 keeps inactive

A new AP30 on a UTM 9.407-3 is not connecting

tried  several Places to eliminate a faulty switch or cable

AP already reset

AP already exchanged via RMA same problem

When connecting AP draws an IP Adress and nothing else happens

were working on a fix for that. Sophos support can help you with a mitigation.

the fix is ready and will be part of the next bugfix release. Sophos Support can also help you with a mitigation for the time being.

Do you know when the fix will be released?

I experience the same problem yesterday when I wanted to added two AP30's to my UTM.

The firmware version of the UTM is 9.409-9.

I can't contact the Sophos support for a workaround because I'm using it at home with a home license but now I cannot use my wireless network.

Hi,

unfortunately I cannot communicate any date. A circumvention out of my head (sorry, cannot verify ad-hoc) is to downgrade your UTM to 9.406 while the AP30s are connected. They should be active after that. During the next upgrade, they should be fine.
