Central Wireless Updates
The product team is pleased to announce that the following updates for central wireless management are now available in Sophos Central.
New Features for AP6 Series Access Points
Sophos has expanded Sophos Central wireless management for AP6 Series access points to the following regions.
- Australia (AP-Southeast)
- Brazil (SA-East)
- Canada (CA-Central)
- India (AP-South)
- Japan (AP-Northeast)
For customers and partners with Sophos Central tenants’ set up or plans to set up tenants in these regions, management for Sophos AP6 Series access points are now available.
Note for APX Series Customers
The additional regions are unavailable for customers and partners with APX Series access points. Central wireless management for the APX Series access points is available in the following regions.
- EU-Central
- EU-West
- US-West
- US-East

Captive Portal: Wireless clients need to re-authenticate when roaming between AP6 access points for all auth modes except voucher. Re-authentication is needed for the following captive portal authentication types when wireless clients roam between access points.
