I'm not sure if these issues are related or not, but last Friday, my workstation lost authentication with my firewall running SFOS v.17. The firewall is setup to authenticate with active directory, and I am running the client authentication agent on my workstation. Restarting the workstation did not fix this issue, but restarting the firewall did.
Since then, however, synchronized security is reporting that my workstation is missing its heartbeat. I had to change my firewall rule to no restriction on the source heartbeat to get internet access. Sophos Central is not showing anything unusual for my workstation, and all of the relevant services appear to be running.
Anyone else having one or both of these issues?
