Daily email reports and amount of spam reported

Hi folks,

I think I have worked out why my daily email reports show very high spam counts. Looking at the email logs I suspect that every time a mail connection is made to check if there are any messages that connection is counted as spam because the connection log shows no sender or receiver.

I further think the high valid mail message count is because of the number of Apple devices that share mail accounts, me, I have 4 and my wife has two. The figure is difficult to prove because not all email accounts are setup on every device.

Some food for thought.
