Hi folks,
being a not so nice a spring day I decided to do some more testing of V17b.
I experimented with turning on the various IPS DOS settings.
Results
1., TCP flood blocks downloads using speedof.me as a source. This shows large numbers of dropped packets.
2/. SYN flood blocks downloads using speedof.me as the source. Turning this on causes ping setup times to blowout to over 2 seconds. My link speed is 4.5/0.5 on a good day. Nothing is shown as being blocked eg no values.
3/. ICMP and UDP do not seem to have any affect on throughput at least on my low speed line.
Something I have not been find out how to enable is IP flood?
