Unable to search for application when individual Application is selected

Unable to search for application when individual Application is selected, otherwise I have to scroll down to find it.

  • Hi Mark,

    you can use the smart filter and it works very well. Sophos have a bad habit of using a light grey for their filters so that the action looks like it is not available.

  • On Application Filter UI they did a great job. when I have to say you did a great job, I am always at the first line.

    However I do not like the Application Policy UI and the other TAB. Web Section UI is much better and more simple to mange.

    Smart filter is somethig really nice to use specially that from several years, IPS is becoming more important than ever.

    SmartFilter isn't a general search box, which might be what's confusing you. SmartFilters are a search that's saved as part of the policy, so that every time time patterns are updated, it's re-run to include the latest matching parameters. This is why it gets disabled when you select "Select Individual Applications". You can still filter the list using the filter icon on the name column, so what you're trying to do is still possible, though I admit, perhaps not obvious. We'll look at how this can be improved.
