All is well

Seems really rare that forums ever actually get positive feedback, so here is some for you.  I am am a sophos XG home user.  I have a fairly simple setup, with only a couple of VLANs.  I am using one hotspot network protected by a "password of the day".  I have one IPSEC site to site tunnel that is running 24/7.  I am using sophos xg in virtualbox with 4 cores and 6 gigs of RAM.  SFOS 17 beta, all is well.  I am not having any problems.  All is well.

Keep up the excellent work Sophos team.  You really don't hear it in the forums much, but your hard work is much appreciated.

  • Hi Justin,

good news from your point of view.

Is your installation a new from ISO or an upgrade?

    Do you generate any reports?

  • Hi Ian,

This was an in place upgrade from the latest version of 16.  Upgrade was smooth, and didn't really take that long.  I uploaded the version 17 firmware and, when the kids went to bed, told the firewall to restart with the new firmware.

I do generate a daily executive summary report, that is still working just fine.  I also get an email with the daily password for my hotspot, that is still working as well.
