Sophos SFP DSL Modul an Telekom Anschluss

Hallo Zusammen,

Port9 : PADI Packet sent from interface

Hi Sascha, Thanks for reaching out to Sophos Community.

I am assuming you're trying to connect PPPoE (given VDSL and PADI packet information).

To check advanced logs, Take SSH, Navigate to Option 5 > Option 3 Advanced Shell --> Run the command --> grep -i "ppp" /log/syslog.log

Try to connect PPPoE once again after running the command and it'll yield the PPP logs from syslog.

Ensure that the upstream device is set in bridged mode and if so, then confirm with ISP once that whether they're receiving tagged packets or not.

  • Hello Devesh,

thanks for the awnser. The command for the log was very useful.
