Can I place XG firewall home on a device between ISP modem and wifi router?

Question

I'm quite a novice at this and I need to know if it's possible to set up XG firewall home on a network between the ISP modem and the Wifi router. 
 I see many configuration examples which place XG firewall further downstream. I need to have wifi clients firewalled. I understand that XG will be doing the dhcp server function. 
 If this is not the best network layout, what would you suggest? I have far more wireless clients than wired.

 Deploy the ISP modem with Sophos XG, configuration details can be found here: https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/123096 
 To deploy Wifi Router make sure it is in configured in bridge mode and does DHCP relay. Configure WiFi on a physical interface and make sure you define DHCP server on XG. Refer: https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/123133 
 Finally, define firewall rules to forward this traffic.
