Vilic thank you for the suggestion. I think you mistook the 85w for the Sophos OS on a headless machine. I ended up buying a usb to serial adapter and using the supplied cable to reset the device to factory settings from the CLI. Now I have to figure out how to setup the unit. :) Can anyone point me to a good tutorial?

thank you for sharing this bad idea. No vga port???[:^)][N][^o)]

There should be a way to access the XG specially when the appliance does not respond anymore. No advanced guide on Web or community.

Maybe we need to wait for someone that has the appliance or contacted the support.

Do you remember what IP address have you set for LAN interface during setup wizard. Did you leave it at default, 172.16.16.16 ?

@ Luk...This model will be very hard to troubleshoot because there is no VGA port at the back (what a genius idea..:).

Port1 is the LAN port, so you should be able to ping 172.16.16.16. Are you able to connect a VGA monitor and check your network configuration using the CLI?
