SFTP Clientless Not working at all

Hi,

I am giving up on this,

I have opened a case with sophos but cannot figure out the issue. I have created a clientless VPN sftp for our server. It always gives me 

read: Connection reset by peer

It works perfectly fine with Winscp using the private and public key but when it comes to sophos it is not working. Sophos confirmed there is no drop in traffic which is logic coz it is reaching the server auth logs...but what is the difference betwenen winscp and clientless for the other to work and this not.

I have some logs from ubuntu server but since i am not expert i cannot understand the logs.

    Hi  Thank you for contacting the Sophos community team. To narrow down the situation if you switch from Public-Private key auth to password authentication, does it work fine? i.e. under the Authentication method if you define a "Password" based option in place of "Private key" and do the settings accordingly is it working fine? I have also added an internal note on your support case to review some additional backend settings on firewall, so those settings and this suggestion together will help to narrow down the issue.
