Thank you for the correction. My bad. I've misunderstood the issue. It seems it’s a device access issue.

I think the OP was trying to access the webadmin interface of the firewall with "Google Web browser" as he called it (Chrome?)

eFrancis : Is this a rather small firewall model or do you have a heavy load on that device?

I never observed such a symptom since V19.x.

The logs were checked however the current firmware version 20.0.0, was the issue that was observed. Restarted the tomcat service as workaround solution.

Thank you for reaching out to Sophos Community.

I would recommend checking the logs when accessing Google. Any error indicated? Screenshots?

Also, kindly try creating an allow test policy on the top rule without any web filter.
