The current situation: SFOS will show the Staging Releases (Flagged as Staging). At this point, the firewall sees the new Firmware, but Central does not.

The reason is, Central will wait until the release is GA for all Firewalls and then make it available for all firewalls.

Individually, my firewalls were showing the update as GA for almost 2 weeks before yesterday. As soon as the Sophos Central maintenance that occurred yesterday finished, they all prompted for the update to be scheduled in Central finally.

I had a little mix up in my initial post: RE: Firewall SFOS v21 update with Central?

SFOS follows the Staging approach, but Central Firmware Update will only show an Firmware, as soon as it is GA.

By the way: We activated now SFOSv21.0 to be GA - and available for all Firewalls.
At the same time, it is available via Central.

Same problem here... Firewalls asking for update, update not available via Central.

Will v21 become available via Central eventually, or do we need to apply v21 manually in order to resolve NR-13658?

Same with us, sync to partner tenant is very slow and buggy.

We are experiencing the same issue. Some of our firewalls have reported via e-mail that 21.0 is available, but central does not show it available for any of them yet.

don't know, because all FWs have been updated manually in the meantime, need to wait for the next release.

it seems there has been an issue:

NR-13658 - Resolved an issue where Sophos Central Partner didn't show any firmware updates.

But Central doesnt show any info:

It would be great if this would be synced to Central too, in order to apply and schedule the update for installation.

Now i have to wait, till central wants to update the firewall.

And it would also be great, when you upload the SIG file to the device, Central will recognize it, and you are able to schedule the installation.

Or are there any other ways to schedule the installation/reboot of an update?

Uploading a File to Sophos Central is not the same as starting an U2D Process.

Uploading the file actually replace and starts already the update process.

Central is doing UP2Date from the beginning - So if the firewall is in the right staging process, it sees the firmware under "New Firmware available" usually Central also reports the same for this firewall.

Only in this scenario, Central offers to process the firmware update, we are doing this, to honor a staging and not releasing the Firmware Update to all customers at the same time.

At the same time, customers with the need or urge to update now, can use the SIG file.
