I will proceed with the migration using the SFOS Email Protection since it is already licensed.

I'll keep the CEMA solution in mind for future implementations.

SFOS Email Protection is an additional service, as you have to purchase it additionally.

Therefore, while purchasing / migrating a UTM to SFOS Migration, you can also replace SFOS Email Protection with CEMA instead, which makes the implemention much easier and enhances the email protection of the customers compared to UTM by a lot of new features.

I will talk to my supervisor regarding CEMA as an option. Our job, thus far, was only to migrate the firewall to XGS without setting up additional services.

As far as i know, you need a comma to differentiate those. But i highly encourage to look into CEMA to get this running without any problems. Therefore the hint about the Promo.

I just want to understand, why this was not used here.

As Managed Service Provider, we usually perform these migrations ourselves.

Any idea how the email address declaration works for alias addresses?

Any reason, you did not use the promo to migrate to CEMA while migrating to SFOS?
