Application Filter false positive - IP whitelist

Question

Hello, 
 I found a false positive in Application Filter. Eset connections are seen as Freegate Proxy connections. 
 I need to add an exception for some IP addresses / FQDNs. It seems that a specific area for this purpose is not implemented in SFOS. So, do I need to simply create a firewall rule on the top that exludes application control for these IPs?

you can add that Application as allowed to your app filter policy:

then put a FW rule on top of the current matching rule, define it for your dest. IP/FQDN host and assign the new app filter policy to it or just assign no app filter at all. 
 That should work.
