How to get a home licence for virtual appliance ?

Hello,

I am used to generating free licenses for virtual sophos XG with this link: www.sophos.com/.../sophos-xg-firewall-home-edition.aspx But now it redirects to this link: www.sophos.com/.../demo And I can no longer get a free license for my Sophos virtual machines... I don't care about there online demo... Does anyone know if free licenses are definitely over? THANKS

  • I have an employee (we are a Platinum partner) that wanted to set a home version up at home to learn more about the platform, etc (it is for home use) -- and found the same thing, that the option to get a home license of SFOS was missing (used to be on the Free Tools page at Free Tools | Sophos ) when we went looking for it this week... talked to our rep @ Sophos and apparently the option will be back, but it is missing for now as Sophos is performing a migration of their licensing systems to a new platform (it's public info, if you log into Central there is a banner talking about this).  This process started 1st of October and was to take 2 weeks ... so I imagine sometime later this month the option will be back.  Keep watching the free tools page.  In the meantime you can go ahead and get the image as Bharat said and load it up, you get 30 days to play with it until you'll need the Home use license.
