using XG v18+ on dedicated OVH server

Hi,

I have a virtual Firewall v17.5 on a dedicated OVH ESXi Server.

the WAN gateway is not on the WAN subnet

This article explains it quite well

will it still work with v18+ and v19.5? can i make the upgrade? will i have to adjust something in routing or anything else?
