Migrating Sophos Home to XGS

Should mention that I DID purchase the XStream license with the appliance.

Hi,

how many ports did you have on your home set-up?

One method is to export the full home setup, delete all the settings from the XGS and import the file.

You will need to regenerate the CAs after the import completes.

Your port order will change.

That is a simple method and you will need to review your configuration after the import is completed being mindful of the port re-ordering.

I tried that and it won't work because the home setup is UTM and the new appliance is SFW. A straight migration isn't possible unfortunately.

Sorry, you did  not specify that in your original post.

I will have a look at my UTM and see what I can export that might be of some use.

My bad! Yes, my main concern is getting all my definitions migrated. I can recreate the rules if I have to but I have over 7-800 definitions at least. I really don't want to hand jam them.
