PPPOE connection without credentials

I got a new fibre internet at home. PPPOE is done with a Fritzbox to a Fibre Modem via PPPOE without any credentials needed. As to avoid double NAT i want my XG to do the PPPOE connection directly, but i have no way to leave user and pws empty. If i enter dummy credentials connection is not established. Any way to get this setup done?

    I guess here is a misunderstanding.  I am not looking for my credentials - i do not need credentials. In the Fritzbox there is the option PPPOE „without authentication“ which is activated. But i am urged to enter credentials in the Sophos XG (user and pwd fields are mandatory). Therefore i am not able to get the PPPOE part done on the Sophos XG

    I understand that, I also understand that XG does not work without credentials, I was offering a suggestion to get around the issue. Home users have to rely on the forums for answers unless you are lucky  enough to pick an issue that a developer needs to add a fix to the XG.

    no passwords supplied. After installation the fiber modem downloads all the data and handles over a pppoe interface to the fritzbox.. i have of course an email .. but all these settings don‘t work

    are you able to change the fritzbox to be transparent eg does not have the firewall enable so it does the PPPoE function only.
