XG135 Home Registration

Hello World,

I purchased a used XG135 online and it's currently registered to another company.

I did a fresh install and their information is still showing up.

I'm looking to apply the Home Edition Firewall License like I had running on my old PC. I'm only using this for a lab but I'd like to be able to use all the functionality in the device under my own Home License.

Can anyone tell me how do I re-license this device with my Home LIcense?

I would suggest re-imaging the firewall with a software ISO and NOT a hardware ISO and then use the home license serial number

Hello,

When I tried installing the software ISO it gave me an error and wouldn't allow me to install. Is there a way around this?

Thank u for the response;

I've managed to install SW.iso on XG 135, but right now i have Problem with LAN links.

Only 2 out off 9 are seems to be working.

LAN 1 port is now LAN 5 and WAN is LAN 6.
The others LAN have no link at all.

what can i do? i need minimum 4 LANs for my 4 rooms in my home setup.

All of your LAN links are working. But you are correct, they are now backwards and if you need to restore from a backup for whatever reason they will change again from my experience. You will need to take the time to map them out to see what links in the GUI are actually mapped to the link numbers on the XG135 appliance. It only took me about 5mins but it was weird at first.

Try plugging a live cable into each port, one at a time, wait for about a minute to see if it comes alive.

then look at the gui to see which port it is.

I have already tried your method but there are still dead. No link or whatsoever.

Only ports 5 and 6 are working fine. 5 for lan and 6 for Wan.

In gui I have opened all ports
