TikTok Application Control

That kinda works, but it relies on an external site data to build an domain list that i dont know if its reliable. And more than that, it's realy clumbersome to implement and not updated like the Application Control is.

There are many and many irrelevant apps in the Application control but super relevant apps to internet use nowdays are not present like TikTok.

There is a reason why you dont add TikTok to application control?

I have created a hosts and services group which provides some blocking snd have added the new group to the general block rule I have at the top of my rule list.

I have also created a web category which I have added to my web profile to block objectionable sites.

The configuration is a bit of an overkill because there are a number of block points but the site is blocked.

Thank you and we appreciate your feedback, we’ll reach out internally, to confirm any ETA for the said application to show under the application control.

Application control alone will not stop this application because it also available on the web as urls as well.

With the setup I created above added to my security settings I was able to download and install the tiktok app from the Apple store, it was not able to connect to the tiktok servers.

When trying to connect using the web the site is blocked and the user is displayed a message.
