  • This is not simple, and your question doesn't provide any details.

Firewall rules can Drop or Reject packets based on source or destination address or port.

Application policies can be applied to Firewall rules, so you need to check for them if it's actually application control blocking.

Website policies can be applied to Firewall rules, so you need to check for them if it's URL blocking.

Note that if a packet is not allowed by a Firewall rule, it will be dropped, so you're also looking for the negative -- in fact that's usually the case in my experience. That is, the port or site or application isn't included in a list to allow, so it's dropped.

Further, if you're running an endpoint (like Intercept X), the endpoint can drop traffic before the firewall even sees it.

So more details about specifics would help us help you.

  • Hi Wayne,

thanks for the answer above. Yeah we already tried opening the web and application filter still the application is still being blocked but open opening "any" the services it went through, i hope there's a option to see if what port is being blocked sorry I'm new on this.

  • Do you see anything on the Log Viewer starting with the Firewall logs? Any Invalid traffic? That should provide more information including port number.

  • You can create a firewall rule at the bottom with deny and log enabled and then check the logs.
