Backup vs Export (Import) Configuration ?

Hello everyone,

What are the differences between these 2 ?

In each of the following scenario, which of these 2 features should I be using?

Factory Reset ?
[Bare Metal] Replacing NIC(s) and (or) upgrading CPU ?
[VM] Modifying VM's virtual NIC(s) ?

None, you are implying you want to start from scratch? I f you want a copy of your backup you would export it.

If you wan to do a restore you need to use the save backup version.
