short question from my side. I just saw the row "IP Flood" under Intrusion Protection --> DoS Attacks.
I was curios, why it was turned of and then saw, that there is no way to configure it. At least not in the DoS settings:
Furthermore, the documentation page doesn't cover this as well: DoS & spoof protection - Sophos Firewall and DoS attacks - Sophos Firewall
IP Flood is only mentioned on the CLI docs. But as well only as an on/off switch: system - Sophos Firewall
Am I just not getting and overseeing the obvious thing? :DAlso, what would it actually do in addition to TCP, SYN, UDP and ICMP flood detection?
please review this thread, it might provide some guidance.

Not really, as IP flood is not covered there.
Based on the thread rfcat_vk had given, you can find this link: https://soph.so/qPuZbF.
They were discussing IP Flood.
You may also check this Sophos doc for DOS & Spoof protection: https://soph.so/KJbSpi
Hope this might help.
