Invalid TCP state

I have an hypervisor sophos is virtualized on it and the network cards are in passthrough mode. So the LAN exit of sophos is connected to the switch.

The admin interface of the hypervisor is in the LAN and have a dedicated NIC to access to it conected to the switch.

When I try to access from DMZ to the hypervisor (I can ping) but I get an invalid TCP state, I guess this is because the hypervisor can be reached by 2 different physical cables. So at the end I can't access to it.

I need both cables because if sophos isn't running I couldn't access to the hypervisor.

Is there a way to fix this without changing cables? with static routing or something?

If I move the hypervisor to a different vlan inside LAN will work?
