Wan 5gbe not negotiating

Att fiber the wan interface is a 5gbe to a 10gbe card on my firewall. However it is not negotiating a 5gbe connection; rather only 1gbe. Anyway to enable 5gbe for this connection? 10gbe is available as a manual selection, but not 5gbe.

Using an intel x550-t2. Port 1 is wan (5gbe) port 2 lan (10gbe)

I was able to figure out in the Shell that the ixgbe driver is using 5.5.1 (2018 version) which has significant security flaws built in. Is there a way to request that the driver be updated to 5.16.5 or something in between?

Ah no problem. Yeah for some reason I can’t get it to use the 2500 or 5000 link speed. It’s not advertising it in the driver, which I read had substantial issue in the 5.5.1 driver. Is there a way to update it manually?
