How did you create the USB? The requirements are not the same as creating a Windows boot disk (for example). We use a utility called Rufus and you have to write it in DD mode for it to boot.

I would also check the BIOS settings because the software version does not support UEFI boot.

also make sure that you are using the legacy USB ports, most of the time will be the ones in the back of the PC that are connected to the board. bet if you are using the ones in the front they are UEFI  also would use  Rufus to redo the USB booted able drive
