Red Connection issue

What is the other XG model you are trying to connect to?

You could restart the tunnels by running  the following command from the advanced shell:

# service red:restart -ds nosync

If the issue persists try rebuilding the configuration again, and check for errors in the red.log once you try to bring the tunnel up.

Red Server -->   X135  Hardware Firewall

Red Client -->    XG Home Edition Virtual For testing

I try to delete the config and build again --> Not Work also.

How Can I check Red.log Files?

Hello Ahmed,

You would SSH into the XG using Putty and pressing 5 > 3 to be in the advanced shell.

Once in the advanced shell type

# cd /log

# tail -f red.log 

To stop press Ctrl + c

Which will show real-time the log

If you want to navigate the log you can use

# less red.log

You can move UP and Down the log using the Page UP and Page down keys on your keyboard, to go to the end of the log press Shift + G. I would recommend you to start from the bottom and move UP the log.

Red Tunnel is up right now.

but still, if the tunnel is down, I must restart the server firewall to up again.

also if I try to run this command # service red:restart -ds nosync , No Response.
