What you need to access over wan from your nas? Just the admin GUI or your network shares?

If you only need to access the admin GUI, I'll not use a DNAT to allow access over wan, if you have the WAF license, this could be the more secure.
BTW, if you need both things or access your network shared folders, I recommend that you create an VPN SSL.
