XG configuration with Optimum and Arris TG1672G

Hi

Can someone help set up Arris and XG firewall? I just got cable internet form Optimum but wish to use my own cable modem. It is Arris TG1672G which I am able to configure fine until I plug in coax form cable company and it gets provider's config and it disables all access to modify any settings on that modem. They refused to switch it to bridge mode so modem in not getting public IP but 192.168.0.0 network. When I connect that with my XG firewall, it gets 192.168.0.3/255.255.255.0 but I am not getting any internet access on any of my LAN devices . My LAN is 192.168.168.0. Do I need to configure static route to get this connection to work? Thanks!

  • You may want to ask this on the XG forums, as they may be able to help you better than the UTM ones.  Slight smile
