Sophos XG 105w - home use License - no wifi interface

Hello all,

i'm new in this community. So i have a Sophos xg 105w firewall with a installed home use license. I've just one problem, i do not find any wifi interface.

I already search in this community but didn't find anything.

Have anybody a Solution? Or a tipp for me?

    HI,

    from forum members who have tried to enable the inbuilt wifi and from Sophos staff that post in these forums.

    A point is that some have enabled the inbuilt wifi but noted that after each update of firmware the configuration was wiped and they had to start again.

    Hello together,

    after a long night now i know the right answer of this issue! 

    There are two different images from sophos:

    - Hardware Image

    - Software Image

    If you have an sophos appliance you can install both image with a little trick!

    Hardware Image: If you install this, everything is wroking correctly (incl. WiFi) but you can not use the home license!

    Software Image: If you install this, the appliance is working as a pc with nics on your model, but wifi will not be functional! It is a driver problem.

    i hope this information helps some people who are new on home license.
