About licensing Sophos XG Firewall Home Edition

I would like to know if Sophos XG Firewall Home Edition can be installed for a company with 5 users. There is no server, and the internet is for commercial use (it is not a dedicated internet).

I would like to know where there is documentation for Sophos XG Firewall Home Edition, and about licensing.

Hi, the condition of using the home version is a none commercial environment there are no exceptions. You would be better off buying an XGS87. Ian

What modules or options does the basic license (without paid license) of an XGS87?

Is there documentation of that?

Hi,

I would recommend that you talk to a Sophos partner/reseller about your requirements.

Alternatively you can search the web for Sophos licensing or the KBAs.

Hello Gabriel,

Adding to what rfcat has mentioned, that is correct, the Sophos XG Home license, provides the same modules as the Paid version, however, this shouldn't be used for commercial use, and only for labs and home environments.

If you purchase the Hardware it comes with the base license, then you can re-image using the Sophos XG Home .iso and you’ll get all the modules.

Note: If the XG device has a built-in Wireless this won't work.

I would also recommend you to reach out to your Sales or Account Manager to talk about your license requirements.
