Set a Static IP MAC mapping RED

Hi,

How can i set a Static Ip mapping on RED (I am using SFOS 18.5.1 MR-1-Build326)?

The RED is setup and working, on CONFIGURE | NETWORK | DHCP I can edit the DHCP server for this red, but there is no "Static IP MAC mapping" option (as exists when I create a DHCP server for use by a Wireless network).

How can I set this?

Hi,

I followed the instructions in that KB, and I have an unexpected result:

I have 2 Reds (A and B).

Disabled the default DHCP server for red A;
Create a new DHCP server for red A;
Disabled the default DHCP server for red B;
Create a new DHCP server for red B;
Noticed that the other red (B) was missing from interfaces…

Disabled the newly created DHCP servers for red A and B;
Enabled the default DHCP servers for red A and B;
Red B still missing from interfaces;

Reboot the firewall to see if the missing red appears again – lost connection to the firewall - only could connect using serial cable.

At this point I created a case with support, and after additional testing, go for a reimage of the device and backup restore.

As I read here it is not possible to have 2 DHCP servers for 1 red - but as it is it the KB should state this clearly, not "Disable or delete the default RED DHCP server that was automatically created when a RED interface is created."

if you have a HA, you need to shutdown the aux peer before changing such a RED device.
