Publish some web applications using the same public IP.

Hello friends.

I only have one public IP on my Sophos XGS, but I want to publish three web applications (web1.dominio.com, web2.dominio.com, web3.dominio.com), all arriving on the same public IP and on the https port.

I know that via NAT, this would only be possible using other public IPs, creating alias on the WAN interface.

But as I only have a public IP, can I somehow do this? Could the WAF be the solution?

Thanks !

  • You can either use a reverse proxy (Such as Nginx or Apache) with a NAT Rule, or if you have the necessary license you can also use the built-in WAF within the Firewall for this.

Both of those options will allow you to host multiple web applications with a single public IP.
