firewall-acceleration

Dear users,

I want to know about firewall-acceleration. I found below Url.

Its a feature that old Sophos OS did not have. I think it has benefits.  by default firewall-acceleration is enable.

Is it proper to run sophos XG by disabling  firewall-acceleration with the command system firewall-acceleration disable? 

when firewall-acceleration is disable, do we loose its benefits?

If we loose benefits, My understanding is It is NOT proper to run it in disable state.

    I would not recommend to disable it, unless somebody tells you to disable it because you found an issue in your network.

    Thanks for your response.  Our Sophos XG 430 is having a high memory issue. This has been going on for 1 month. I opened a ticket twice. once support guy asked me to flush report. I did it and monitored for 1 week. But issue was NOT solved. I opened another ticket. It is now going on.  this time another support guy disabled it with the command "system firewall-acceleration disable". in addition to that  "Enable web content cache" was disabled which is under web, general settings. then, we rebooted the firewall. Now it has been running for 2 days. I think this time so far so good. Anyway I will have to keep on monitoring for another week. 

    I discussed it in the community. This is my question. Plz see below url.
