Sophos XG 18.5 MR1 - AD Authentication - Long username

Hey,

We have a XG setup with AD authentication, and it seems to be pulling from the username from the "pre windows 2000" field instead of the normal username field. This means we have a customer with a long username (firstname.lastname) where the last few letters are cut of when he logs into the vpn or user portal. Is there any way to grab the full name instead?

    This is the SAMAccountname. 

    The authentication process in Sophos accepts the UPN (basically username + domain) and the SAMAccountname. 

    If the user enters the SAMAccountname, the firewall will shoot this against all AD servers, using the Domain configured within the AD Server on SFOS - servers - domain name. 

    SFOS should fetch the UPN regardless (name+Domain). How long is this in your setup? And do you have a Radius server?
