Aliases displayed in Network Interfaces limited to 3 total?

If a bug was reported two years ago and still exists today is it now classified as a feature?

With everything else I am dealing with trying to get a stable XG210 config, I really didn't need to be frustrated with trying to add additional aliases on my WAN port only to sail off the edge of the earth on the fourth alias. It doesn't show up then I try and re-enter it and it says it is there. Only when I go hacking around in the command line (after blowing past the warning to get out of the command line mode) do I see that it actually registered the alias, the web interface is just too stupid to display it. Of course this could have been addressed with a comment in the help file or somewhere else.

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

Aren't you able to see the sliding bar next to the interface? If you move your mouse next to one the Garbage Bin the bar should show there.

Wait one ever loving minute! Why the heck does that magic little scroll bar only appear if you mouse is over just the right place on the page? Where is that documented? Why is it designed this way? Does it make sense to anyone else?

It is actually quite simple: If you look at a bigger deployment with multiple Alias on multiple interfaces, to have multiple scroll bars will confuse likely the user or the browser. Because if you scroll within the window, which tab should scroll? The easiest approach is to hide the scrollbar until you want to actually reach the interface and scroll there.

But agree, it could be better indicated to "have more interfaces".

Confusion is what the XG delivers every time I work with it. Why should this be any different?

Documentation is key, both in the user interface and the help files.

What i do not understand: If you expect to have more interface, why would you not hover over the interface? At least to give it a try?

I mean, it could be confusing at first, but after seeing a scroll bar after one sec should be a good approach, i guess?

I didn't know it was expected that my mouse or finger would wander around a screen looking for an Easter egg that will display just in info I am looking for. I guess I haven't kept up with user interface expectations.
