Is it possible to configure the RED so that the remote clients get an IP from our internal DHCP, i.e. behave in the same way as if they were on our internal LAN?

I f you mean a DHCP server other than the XG firewall itself, you'll need a DHCP Relay on the XG to the other DHCP server and of course the firewall rules to the DHCP server. Also follow s advice first.
