XG106 cannot join Sophos Central

Hello Community,

I have tried to visualize my XG106 in Sophos Central. The appliance is shown up in the web interface but cannot be managed.

When entering the appliance Web Interface, I get some HTML code displayed where I can at least identify license issue.

Nevertheless, my appliance is having active subscriptions until summer 2022.

  • Looks fine to me. What account did you use to join the Central Management. Which License do you have there? (It should not affect the appliance, but nice to know). Can you also share a screenshot of the issue in XG? 

    Can you also rejoin Central?

  • Well I have used my Sophos ID to join the Sophos Central. Eventhough, I haven‘t any purchased license in central. Nevertheless, on the local appliance I deactivated all switches under Central Snychronization and activated them again, now the Sophos Central can Access the XG106. Problem solved.

  • CM is basically a free licence with certain limitations, eg 7 day history, limited functionality.
