VPN access to WLAN-Clients

Dears,

we have a Sophos XG behind a Fritz!Box. The Sophos XG controls a LAN (172.16.16.0/255.255.255.0) and a WLAN (10.0.6.0/255.255.255.0). For the purpose of remote administration VPN been set up. Using SSL-VPN-Client gets me to all servers which are attached to the LAN. However the Clients and Servers on the WLAN are not reachable. Ping gets me to 10.0.6.1, i.e. the Firewall  only.  My local Sophos distributor has no idea how to reach the WLAN clients.

Is there someone out there who can help me ?

Thanks in advance

Bernd

  • Hallo Bernd and welcome to the Sophos Community!

I've moved your question to the XG Community where you'll get better help for XG than you would in the UTM Community.

  • Hi,

Do you have a firewall rule allowing access from the VPN to the WLAN? Also what does logviewer show for the attempted connections?

  • First of all, the SSLVPN config needs to include the network range of your WLAN. So the profile needs to have the route of 10.0.6.0/24. Then you need the firewall rule to include this traffic (VPN to WLAN).
