I am planning on upgrading two XG firewalls at separate locations to version: HW-18.0.5_MR-5.SF300-586
Current status is:
- Site A: XG115 - FW: SFOS 17.5.11 MR-11 (Current)
- Site B: XG106 - FW: SFOS 17.5.13 MR-13 (Current)
Both of the above XGs has an MR update available to: HW-17.5.15_MR-15.SF300-746
I was planning on updating to this release prior to upgrading to v18. I would update to the MR first and after a couple reboots, then upgrade to v18.
Initially my plan was to upgrade the XG106 first then the XG115 at a later date, but then I read this article:

In the Previous Version Section for Version 18.0 MR4 Build 506, in the Enhancements section it states: 
These sites have a Site to Site SSL VPN connection.
Does the above statement mean that I would have to upgrade both firewalls to V18 at the same time?
I got burnt before trying to upgrade the XG115 to v18 and later had to restore it because it would die after being up for some time.
I don't want to have issues again.
So should I wait for a time when I can upgrade both units at the same time?
