I do have a case with Sophos but the response time is not great so I am postin here too. 
 Hopefully it&amp;#39;s a simple remedy too. 
 We&amp;#39;ve configured Sophos Connect. The XG210 is SFOS 18.0.4 MR-4 
 It works manually but doesn&amp;#39;t autoconnect.

&lt;p&gt;I tried to use Sophos Connect with &amp;quot;Connect tunnel automatically&amp;quot; enabled, and it&amp;#39;s working fine.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Below is the configuration of my LAB appliance which is identical.&lt;/p&gt;

I have now tried both a &amp;quot;domain.local&amp;quot; suffix and a business LAN DNS server address in the appropriate box but the autoconnect still doesn&amp;#39;t run. The below is a sanitised screen shot of the XG. I did export the settings and create a new connection into the client machine. The connection is fine manually. Everything works. But if the laptop is restarted and logged into the autoconnect doesn&amp;#39;t happen. Internet access is available, I can browse and use Teams and email. I waited 5 minutes just to be sure but still no connection until I initiate it.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Go to VPN &amp;gt; IPsec(Remote access) Advanced Settings &amp;gt; Connect tunnel automatically &amp;gt; Enter the hostname or DNS suffix to monitor.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;When users sign in to their endpoint devices and can&amp;#39;t connect to the entered hostname, the connect client will start the connection.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Note&lt;/strong&gt;:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;If you update any of the advanced settings, for the changes to take effect, you must share the configuration file again with the users. However, if users have imported the provisioning file, this file automatically updates the&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;Sophos Connect&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;clients on users&amp;#39; endpoints with the changes you make to the settings.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
