Share Sophos XG 17.5

Hi everybody, can someone please share the Sophos XG 17.5 iso ? Indeed I got an old sopho SG105W compliant until XG17.5. When I want to upgrade from UTM to XG i only got the choice to download Sophos XG 18 which is not compliant with my SG105W. I already looked on internet during hours and I can't find the XG 17.5 installer...

It would be great if somaine could share the iso thanks a lot

You open the 105, remove the existing disk and insert a new one of similar size. Ian

The sg105w was an old production router that I brought back to home to make some lab. The problem is that I don’t have any support on it so I cannot raise any support case. That’s why I look for the iso install of XG

That's my problem how can i get a home license for a SG105W ? Because all home license I can download is for virtual appliance and I don't want to have a virtual appliance... If you could help me

Hi,

you can download the home licence in the same place, then you select the software but I suspect the v17.5.x version is not offered.

Hi I already did that unfortunately as you mentioned home license is only for software appliance and Mine is hardware so when I try to boot the iso on the sg105 I got an error saying that the iso is not compliant with hardware that’s why I need hardware iso for 17.5 and not software iso

Hi,

you will need to change the disk so that there is no knowledge of the hardware.

You can use the official SFOS Hardware installer to get this installed and migrated. BUT you need the official myUTM License before you do it. Because the official MyUTM License for the UTM SG105W is required to migrate this license. Do you have it?

Then create a case and you will get the Link to the gated ISO Installer.

Or maybe somebody in the community can share you a Link of a older ISO and you can update from there.
