Sophos Connect SSL VPN OpenVPN Service is not available Win 8.1

The initial versions of Sophos Connect were having issues with installation on Win 8.1 and then was fixed in a newer version of it but now when we are testing out to use the SSL VPN connection through the Sophos Connect Client it is giving us an error about the OpenVPN service on Win 8.1 clients but it does work for Win 10

Is this a known issue Sophos is aware of?

Already verified that the service is started and that it is not disabled (https://docs.sophos.com/nsg/sophos-connect/help/en-us/nsg/scon/troubleshooting/OpenVPNUnavailable.html)

Installed latest v2.1 client
