Sophos XG106w stellt keine Verbindung her

Hallo zusammen, 

ich habe folgendes Problem: 

Bei der Sophos Firewall XG106w kommt nach einer Internetstörung durch Vodafone keine Verbindung zustande. Nur ein Neustart der FW erhalten wir wieder Zugriff auf das Internet. 

Vorgeschalten ist eine Fritzbox 7590, Internet ist als exposed host an die Sophos freigegeben, Telefonie wird per S0 Bus an eine Telefonanlage weitergibt.

Hat jemand von euch einen Lösungsvorschlag?

    Hi ,

    Thank you for reaching out to Sophos Community.

    Can you please check the ARP for the ISP gateway when the issue persists again?

    Go to Network > Neighbors (ARP-NDP) > Show: IPv4 neighbor cache and filter IP address with gateway IP.


    You can also check ARP in CLI.

    Login to putty > 5. Device Management > 3. Advanced Shell

    # arp -a | grep <WAN interface>

    eg: # arp -a | grep Port2

    So, please take an observation by just updating the WAN interface(open WAN interface configuration and click Save) instead of rebooting the Sophos Firewall.

    thank you for your support. 

    I had a look a few minutes ago.

    At the moment I can see the Gateway including the right IP Address. 

    Am I correct in assuming that in the event of the error, the gateway will not appear there?

    ARP status for gateway might show 'not completed' at the time of instance. 

    Follow the steps mentioned in the above comment if the issue persists again and share your observation.
