This firmware will replace the non-active firmware image on your device - even if there is none.

I have no non-active firmware image on my firewall. Nevertheless XG 18 MR4 shows this serious looking message box when trying to upload a new image.

This firmware will replace the non-active firmware image on your device. Are you sure you want to upload the firmware?

That makes no sense to me. You could use a small check and skip thi s message when the slot is already empty. Is that possible?

    As this message only appears for a small potion of customers it seems to be unnecessary to me, to replace this message.

    It only appears, if you manually update via .sig File.

    It only is irritating, if the customer does have a new installed appliance. 

    This makes a marginal potion of customers, seeing this alert, which is fine, as this is what the appliance actually do. It replaces the non-active slot (What ever sits there).

    I agree, that this is only relevant for appliances that have been installed from ISO installer. I would still find it logical to suppress the message when the slot is already empty.
