Application Filter logs block but applications are still accessible

Hello all,

I have an ios device connected to my XG Firewall using SSL VPN with OpenVPN

the VPN is a full tunnel therefore all traffic are passed through the XG FIrewall

I created an application policy to block whatsApp, Facebook and instagram and applied the policy to the firewall rule my ios is using.

when i open whatsApp i can still make calls, chat although i cannot download files, when i open Facebook i can still access it.

when i check logs on the Firewall i see denied access to these applications.

Kindly assist i need those applications to be blocked totally or is there something i am missing?
