Sophos xg internet not working properly

I recently started using XG firewall on my home network. I just had a 600/35 connection installed from my isp. I also have a 200/10 connection from the same isp if I connect my router directly to my network I get the said speeds just fine. When I connect the new line to my sophos box I only get a fraction of speed of new line (around 70mbps) and the upload is fine (35mbps). I have the software loaded on a thin client pc with 3 ethernet ports. I have already tried alternate port to no avail. This is a new install so I have not yet customized anything to say it was something I did. Please advise
