Sophos XG Firewall GRE Configuration

Hello,

I recently did an upgrade on a cyberoam device to SFOS which was successful and all connections are functioning.

I did restored the backup config on a new Sophos XG Firewall, while internet was fine the connection via MPLS to other sites do not work.

I have checked the GRE configurations made but discovered they were disabled and re-enabled them yet they still did not work.

If I switch back to the Cyberoam with the SFOS firmware, all works fine.

Kindly assist if i'm missing something out.

    Hi Idris, Thanks for reaching out to Sophos Community.

    Can you please specify which firmware you're using on XG Firewall as v18 wasn't supported on Cyberoam appliances.

    Also, are you running GRE over your MPLS network?

    On XG, Take SSH , Option 4 > console --> Run the command --> system diag utilities route lookup x.x.x.x 

    Use your remote network's IP which is configured to be reachable via GUI and verify from where it's reachable.

    The firmware on both XG and Cyberoam is 17.5.

    Yes running GRE over your MPLS network.

    system diag utilities route lookup x.x.x.x(I will try this on the XG).
